About the Programme
The NZMMNA High Performance Programme (HPP) exists to develop the pool of elite players and create a clear and transparent pathway for national representation.

Key points
  • The NZMMNA High Performance Squad includes up to 40 players invited into the programme for up to 2 years.
  • All NZMMNA International Teams will be selected from the High Performance Squad at a High Performance Camp.
  • Players will be invited to participate in the HPP by the International High-Performance Committee following assessment at trials.

Trials
The next round of High Performance Squad Trials are being held in February 2024.
 
Open Trials (male and female)
Date: Saturday 17 February 2024 @10.30am to 5.30pm
Location: Akau Tangi Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington

Youth Trials
Youth (aged 23 or under as at 31 Dec 2024) can trial at any of the following locations:

Location: Akau Tangi Sports Centre, 72 Kemp Street, Kilbirnie, Wellington

​Date: Sunday 18 February 2024, 10.00am to 2.00pm
Location: Pulman Arena, 90 Walters Rd, Takanini, Auckland

Date: Saturday 24 February 2024, 10.00am to 2.00pm
Location: Nga Puna Wai, Augustine Drive, Wigram, Christchurch
